MailSync
Email documents, filed into CargoWise automatically
Turn the documents that land in your inbox into CargoWise attachments. MailSync reads each one, works out which shipment or consol it belongs to, and files it as an eDoc, with no manual matching or uploading.
Email documents → CargoWise
Delivery orders, telex releases and other paperwork arrive by email all day, and someone has to open each one, work out which job it belongs to, and attach it in CargoWise. MailSync does that step automatically.
A document forwarded in is captured, then matched to the right place in CargoWise using the email subject: it reads the bill or consol number, finds the matching shipment or consol, and attaches the document as an eDoc at the correct level.
It runs on a short cycle and recognises the document types you handle, with the right eDoc type applied to each, so the paperwork ends up filed exactly where your team would have put it by hand.

Looked after
Through the eAdaptor gateway.
MailSync receives documents that arrive by email through a mailbox connection, stores each one, then reads the email subject to find the bill or consol number it refers to. It looks up the matching shipment or consol in CargoWise and attaches the document as an eDoc of the right type through the eAdaptor gateway. Anything it can’t match is set aside rather than filed in the wrong place.
MailSync is its own service, licensed and activated separately. It runs on top of the eAdaptor gateway, so an active eAdaptor connection is the prerequisite for switching it on.
